Be there or be square

The Tenth Annual Lowell Open Studios
Joy, by Linda Dunn

 Lowell Fiber Studio Open House
Saturday September 25th
Sunday September 26th
11am to 5pm

Please join me  in Lowell this weekend.  This year’s event features more than 140 artists and galleries. Grab a map and visit fiber artists, painters, sculptors, potters, jewelers, filmmakers, photographers, and more.

You'll find me on the fifth floor of Western Avenue Studios.
Sunday from 1-3 I'll demonstrate thermofax printing my own crazy way, including ghost images and watercolor techniques.

Open Studios lets you meet the artists. Talk with them; ask questions. And buy local! No "Made in China" mass production here.

Enjoy the day, enjoy yourself, and have a great time in Lowell. Remember to enter the
Lowell Open Studios Art Purchase Voucher Drawing.
You could win a coupon good for art worth up to $300!

If you love fabrics and collage

I'm thrilled to join Merill Comeau to  teach  Fabulous Fabrications this fall at the Arlington Center for the Arts.
 Free-hand thermofax printing

Our class will explore inspiration and technique, in the quest for the truly original artwork with fabric.  Merill Comeau, teaches the first half of the course. Trust me, she's a transformative teacher, full of insight and enthusiasm.

You'll learn a new technique each week. We'll cover stamps, gelatin prints, free-hand painting, thermofax, collage and more.

Each class will include a demonstration of a technique, time to practice, plus an opportunity for sharing what we’ve created.

Class begins the first week in October. We only have room for a few students, so surf right over to Arlington Center for the Arts or call (781) 648-6220 to register.
